Cast-Iron Ribeye Marinade

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 4 One Mile Ranch Ribeye Steaks
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp OMR x Bernies Turbo Spice

Directions:

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl and whisk thoroughly.
  • Pat down steaks with a paper towel, then add to a ziplock bag.
  • Once the marinade is mixed, add the steaks to the zip lock bag.
  • Flip the steaks around to coat them well.
  • Squeeze out any extra air in the bag before sealing.
  • Place the bag in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hours or up to 8 hours.
  • Once ready to cook, place a cast-iron skillet over high heat.
  • Add 2 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of olive oil to the pan.
  • Once the butter is bubbling, add the steaks.
  • Sear on high for 2 minutes on each side.
  • Turn down the heat to medium, flip one more time, and cook for about 5 min until done to your preference. (This method generally creates a delicious medium-rare finish.)
  • While the steak is cooking, spoon any of the extra butter from the pan over the top of the steak.
