Ingredients:
- 1 tbps olive oil
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 medium sweet onion, diced
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp parsley
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbps flour
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 250 ml tomato sauce
- 2 (9 oz) packages of 3 cheese tortellini
- 1/2 cup cream
- 2 tbps sugar
Directions:
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add ground pork and onion. Brown for about 5 minutes.
- Add all spices and garlic, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add flour and cook for another 1 minute.
- Gradually mix in broth, tomato sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to a simmer, and stir occasionally for about 10 minutes.
- Stir in tortellini, cover, and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
