Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 lbs of One Mile Ranch Ground Beef
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- salt and pepper
Makes 8 burger patties. (Recipe is made for easy doubling because these are awesome for a big group.)
Directions:
- Thaw ground beef and put in a large mixing bowl
- Add breadcrumbs, eggs, liquid smoke, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
- Use your hands to combine until the mixture is thoroughly smooth.
- Next, press the meat down evenly in the bowl. Use a knife to cut and divide the hamburger patty mixture into 8 equal sections.
- Set out a baking sheet lined with parchment paper to hold the patties. One at a time, press firmly into patties of your desired thickness. You typically want hamburger patties to be slightly larger than the buns they’ll be served on since they’ll shrink a bit in the cooking process.
- Place the formed patties on the baking sheet. With thick patties, press a dent in the center of each patty so they don't puff up while cooking.
- Grill on the BBQ or in a cast iron pan!
ENJOY!
