- 4 or 5 ONE MILE RANCH RIBEYE OR TOP SIRLOIN STEAKS
- Montreal Steak Spice
- 1 Sweet Onion, sliced
- Swiss Cheese
- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- Garlic Salt
- Vegetable Spice
- 2 Fresh Baguettes
Directions:
- Prepare herb butter by combining softened butter, garlic salt and vegtable spice to desired taste. Mix well and set aside.
- Slice the steaks into thin strips (to make slicing easier, freeze steak for a few minutes.)
- Slice the onion into thin strips as well.
- Preheat two cast iron pans and melt a generous amount of butter in the pan the steaks will be going into. When nice and hot add the steaks to the pan with the butter and season with lots of montreal steak spice. In the other pan add the onion.
- Saute onions until they are golden brown then set aside. Fry the steaks until finished as well and set aside.
- Slice the baguettes lengthwise. Spread the butter mixture on the bread then pile high with steak, onions and topped with the swiss cheese.
- Keep sandwich open and broil for about 2 minutes or until cheese is bubbling.
